Blossom like a stunning flower, and let love grow in the garden of your dreams. I use a vibrant palette of colours to symbolise nurture and integrity.

So beautiful

Real Flowers- Selecting the ideal flowers required weeks of careful planning, purchasing numerous artificial bouquets, and extensive online research. I had to take into account the flower type, shape, meaning, tonality, and color combinations that would complement the overall image without overpowering it.

Testing- Throughout my studio test sessions, I experimented with different methods to attach artificial flowers to masks. I initially tried gluing them onto fabric wrapped around the mask, then attempted to create a wire grid to hold the stems, but that didn't work either. I then purchased a plastic mesh, but found it to be even more time-consuming and difficult to shape. All of these methods resulted in inconsistent outcomes and disrupted the overall heart shape. The solution came when I decided to directly glue the flowers onto the masks. Although this meant sacrificing a beautiful and expensive mask, it allowed me to maintain the final heart shape.

Plan-I faced a new challenge at that point: I had to glue the flowers on the mask right before the session, wait for the superglue to dry, and then take the photos. The session was set for the next day, so I couldn't test this theory beforehand, but I was feeling positive. Luckily, while I was experimenting with the artificial flowers, I found out that I needed a diagram to assist me in arranging them with an aesthetic balance. So, all through the night, I devoted myself to completing this task.

The day- On the day, I bought 4 bouquets and headed to the studio. I soon realized that preparing the flowers for the photoshoot would take a lot of time. Since I didn't have an assistant and didn't expect the task to be so challenging, I was in a bit of a pickle. It took me ages just to glue less than half the mask, and we both had to leave the studio in 1 hour. Luckily, seeing my predicament the model kindly offered to help out, saving the day. We worked together, with her selecting, cutting, and organizing the flowers in a specific order, while I quickly glued them onto the mask following the layout I had planned out. This layout guided us on where each flower should go, considering factors like color, size, and shape. Once we finished gluing all the flowers, we had to wait for the glue to set. We used this time to go over everything again and practice the poses we needed to do. During the session, a few flowers fell off and had to be glued back on. Despite the mishaps, the end result was amazing. I couldn't believe my eyes, we were both positively shocked with the images, a true testament to our commitment that day.
